Well Motorola  Finally has a Android phone coming to Sprint for the first time and it looks Pretty damn cool. It looks a lot like the the same specs as the Atrix 4G found on At&t. Every thing I have found about this phone says it will have a laptop dock accessory and a TV output accessory witch is pretty cool if you ask me. As a Sprint Customer I am looking forward to seeing this phone in person because I think its going to be one hell of a phone at least I’m hoping so anyways time will tell below are some of the specs I’ve found from PhoneArena.com I will update this Story as I find out more.

Avast update causes one Fun day for everyone!!!

by Claymerica on April 11th, 2011 at 4:24 PM

The Avast update problem caused one  fun day for most of us who were doing something on our computers when the update installed. You most likely spent the better part of two to three hours trying to find out if your computer really had a problem or if Avast was the problem. Well lucky for all of us it was Avast that was the problem, but that still doesn’t mean you didn’t lose valuable time today all because of one vary bad update file. I know Avast say’s they sent the fixed update out 45 mins after the bad update. But I can personally tell you i spent almost two and half hours with out the new update and I was clicking the manual update button every ten mins or so while I was trying to figure out what was going on. When they actually released the fixed update is anyone’s guess but I do know it was not 45 mins for me. I also know I cant spent two to three hours with anivirus problems and I doubt you can either, so I will now ask a question. Does this update problem with Avast make you think of maybe changing your anti-virus software. If so what are you thinking of going with or will be going with?  Let me know in the comments what you are thinking of doing.

Problems with the Avast definitions update for April 11 2011!

by Claymerica on April 11th, 2011 at 3:32 PM

Avast is having problems today with there definitions update version today.  I myself have had problems from the time my computer updated at 1:00 or so this afternoon the problem is avast is giving false positives on every website you visit like yahoo, google, msn, or any other website you might visit and giving you this warning for every site you visit

But not to worry it is just that a false positive and your computer is not really infected, hopefully they have a fix for this very soon.

Here is the update version that’s the problem. current version with the problem is 110411-1

Here’s hoping for a speedy fix. because that would be great for everyone.

Tell then I would suggest just disabling the webshield and yes I say that against my better judgment but that’s the only way your going to get avast to let you visit websites right now.

Also Avast’s website is getting hit pretty hard and has been down for parts of the day or very slow so be patient.

Update!!!

On Avast’s blog https://blog.avast.com/ they have released a new update version number 110411-2 that should fix the problem. they say you have to manually update the definitions.

Here’s the link to the post https://blog.avast.com/2011/04/11/false-positive-issue-with-virus-defs-110411-1/

I have updated and version number 110411-2 fixes the problem :-)
